Dear Cheryl:
Your Yoga classes have been most beneficial since I started them this summer. I firmly believe that yoga can help anyone (i'm 61 years old) improve whatever sport they like to participate in doing. My 65 year old brother-in law got me into it. He told me how it has improved his flexibility in his golf game and he's been playing for 50 years. My tendons, back, joints and ligaments all seem more flexible. I enjoy swimming 5-6 miles/week and yoga has help my swimming, breathing and stamina. I actually believe yoga has an anti-aging characteristic to it as well, by giving one a new outlook on life. I wish I had taken yoga when I was going thru Navy SEAL training (BUD/S) in Coronado, Calif., for it certainly could help reduce injuries to the muscles, tendons, back, joints and ligament.
